
Starting with the a/b split testing going on here. As said we are using Google Website Optimizer to do this and it’s free. What it basically does is, it tests two or more different copies of your webpage where one copy is page a and the other is page b, hence a/b split testing.

Taking it to the next level with multivariate testing. Test different page blocks or parts to see what combination works best. Besides any “regular” website this method can be extremely useful for eCommerce sites. In combination with split-testing you’d have a pretty strong system to figure out how people like to use your website.
